It’s the holiday season and we here at Film Daily could use some holiday cheer. Don we now our best nails ever – the internet is full of wonderful, creative people willing to share their awesome nail designs.
Instagram is an awesome way to get inspiration for your future nail designs. We suggest using #christmasnails or #holidaynails for the most festive results. Here are some of our favorite searches. Note that we included a wide range of skill difficulty, so even the most inexperienced elves can rock the most festive nails.
Whimsical Christmas Colors
Using bright metallic red & green polish, this design may seem basic, but those inner nails give us the Christmas spirit. Those wispy lines look like Christmas trees straight out of A Charlie Brown Christmas.

This paint job may be simple, but boy are they classy. @Kellimarissa on Instagram showed us how you can make your own ribbon & bow design using a smaller brush. Change up the color palette if you prefer, but this set of nails is the perfect gift for yourself.

Black & gold might not scream Christmas, but add some holiday icons like a tree, star, or snowflake, and you’re sure to be the toast of the holiday zoom party. @nailitmg used gold flakes and a one line design to add extra class. Have yourself a bougie Christmas with these nails.
Deconstructed Christmas trees
If you’re not the most skilled nail tech, have no fear. Abstract art is here (and @recklessnail.care who came up with this genius idea). Starting with a clear coat, add a few green glitter flakes, before adding another clear coat and finishing off with some red dots. Festive and cool!

Turns out you can catch him or at least @decorateddigits on Insta did. If you have a dark sense of humor, these deadly sweet nails are perfect for you. Complete with “splattered blood” and crumbs everywhere, your family may be concerned with your choices, but we think you nailed it.
