We focus on: fandoms, conventions, community, reboots, streaming, web series, alternative distribution and indie film festivals. We are a new media startup aiming to disrupt the film distribution and production industries.

The Gig

We’re looking for an organized and motivated Virtual Production Assistant Trainee to work with our creative team on a variety of online events, conventions, and experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist during the preproduction process, including research, outreach, development and troubleshooting 
  • Gather relevant production data during every shift and create detailed reports 
  • Maintain a working knowledge of of technical requirements & equipment
  • Research potential brands and individuals for partnerships
  • Create partnerships with relevant film, tech, and entertainment & creative organizations
  • Liaise with celebrities, talent, agencies, press & PR companies
  • Compose emails, internal & external documentation
  • Distribute contracts, virtual call sheets and other important paperwork
  • Liaise with Senior Producer and junior production team 
  • Maintain project timelines & deadlines 
  • Interface with the Marketing/Social Media team to maximize outreach
  • Participate in virtual meetings with other staff as well as clients
  • Provide postproduction support, including client followup & reports
  • Examine documents, materials, and work processes for efficiency & accuracy
  • Develop required assets and schedules for upcoming productions
  • Provide professional insight and advice to produce best results
  • Manage multiple directives and adjust shifting priorities as they change
  • Schedule and manage runthrough for events, making recommendations to client on flow and format best practices
  • Act as point of contact during events, providing support & virtual stage management as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise
  • Ensure continuity & quality assurance for all virtual events
  • Work with the Operations & Production teams to improve processes continually
  • Assess ROI, areas for improvement, and current strengths
