Find out what makes SuperEQ Headphones special
As we find ourselves more and more connected to music streaming services and back on the go as the pandemic reopening charges forward, it’s increasingly important for us to have access to sound quality that keeps us not only sane but focused when work is just too much.
Luckily, SuperEQ’s latest lineup of wireless bluetooth headphones seem more than up to the task with their over-ear and in-ear offerings just in time for the holidays. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from them.
When asked what lies behind the larger than life sound quality and feather-quiet cancellation, Super EQ is happy to take us under the hood.
“Our team of engineers conducted more than 100, 000 tests in real-life scenarios to fine-tune SuperEQ S1 Bluetooth over ear headphone’s 4 built-in ANC microphones and digital active noise cancellation algorithm.” they said. “As a result, the hybrid active noise cancellation can detect and cancel out a wider range of low and mid-frequency noises such as cars and airplane engines.”
One of our favorite features of the SuperEQ® S1 Hybrid ANC Headphones with Transparency mode is their “Ambient Sound” ability to go transparent in the same way that Apple Airpods do for a fraction of the price. Using unique ambient sound technology, SuperEQ’s “bionic hearing” technology allows you to hear in ways most headphones don’t allow. Music is lowered and speech is amplified through mics in these soundproof over ear headphones so you can stay connected to your surroundings.
We can’t count how many times we have had to take out our headphones in order to easily communicate with flight attendants on the plane, clearly obtain flight broadcast information while waiting for boarding, and chat with a workout partner before yoga class. Transparency modes are becoming an increasingly common feature among the top tier of bluetooth headphones and with the S1 we are relieved to finally have this feature within easier reach.
Playtime and power
If the Ambient Sound feature wasn’t already enough, the S1 also excels in delivering true sound as your favorite artist intended their music to be heard. It has been given the Hi-Res seal of approval, no small feat for a wireless headphone, and is available on Amazon USA.
It was a relief then to see the S1 is no slouch on battery life, clocking in a staggering 45-hour average playtime. When asked how they pulled it off, SuperEQ was happy to take us back under the hood. “Our premium Li-ion battery powers 45 hours of playtime in Bluetooth mode at 60% volume, or 50 hours in wired noise cancelling mode. A single charge gives you enough power to listen to over 600 songs or soundtrack multiple long-haul flights.”
If over ear-headphones aren’t quite your vibe, we were pleased to see the SuperEQ® Q2 Pro Hybrid ANC TWS Earbuds with Transparency mode offers in-ear listening of identical quality with several tweaks we can’t keep to ourselves.
Alongside boasting the same noise cancellation and transparency features present in the over-ear S1, the in-ear Q2 Hybrid allows you to make phone calls thanks to SuperEQ “Clear Voice Capture” technology. Yet another Apple Airpod feature we don’t have to break our banks for, the Q2 Hybrid had our voices come through crystal clear with our calls relatively noise free. In total, we clocked up to 35 decibels of noise cancellation power.
With the noise cancellation system active, the battery life is admittedly less than the over-ear S1, clocking in at just under 8 hours but lasting a solid 28 hours with the charging case. With the transparency mode on however, you can get up to an even sturdier 11 hours. This allows for a listening average of 300 songs, going toe to toe with Apple’s Airpods.
SuperEQ went on to divulge that their neodymium magnet driver is what allows for such high fidelity processing. This also allows for a touch control system that can follow up to 5 commands.
