Watch live NFL games without cable: The best streaming sites

We’re one week in the NFL 2020 season, and we’re ready for it. If you’re anything like us, you probably don’t have a cable subscription, and you’re probably wondering how to watch the game (and the rest of the season for that matter). Well, we’ve got you covered.

We gathered a list of the best streaming sites so you don’t have to miss any of the games. Some of them require a subscription (although many of them have a free month trial), and some of them are completely free. Whatever your situation is, we’re sure you’ll find some good options here.

Yahoo Sports

One of the best alternatives to watch the NFL games for free is to get the Yahoo Sports app. The app is available in the App Store (iOS) & Play Store (Android), so it’s accessible on most devices.

Yahoo Sports is a great option if you want to watch the NFL games live since you can access them from your phone or tablet as long as you have an internet connection. This app also lets you track the scores, check the weather forecast for the game, and see relevant tweets.

The only downside is that if you don’t have a way to share your device’s screen to a TV, you probably won’t be able to enjoy the game with the rest of your family or roomies. You can get more information about the Yahoo Sports App on the Yahoo Sports page.

CBS All Access

This is one of the best options for people who are willing to pay for a streaming service but don’t want to spend too much on it. CBS All Access is only $5.99 per month, and it has a free month trial so you can watch the next few weeks of the NFL games for free.

This is a great option if you don’t have a cable subscription but want to stay on budget for the last three months of the year. Also, you can get access to other CBS programs such as Star Trek

Sling

If you’re interested in watching other channels but don’t want the hassle of getting cable, Sling might be a good choice for you. Their cheapest plan (Orange) offers ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN 3, which would allow you to watch the NFL games for only $30 a month.

If you want to get more channels, you can also add the Blue package for $15 extra. You can check out their bundles on the Sling website.

Amazon Prime

If you already have Amazon Prime, the best option for you is to use it to stream the NFL games too. Amazon Prime will also feature the Christmas game on December 25th.

If you’re not a member yet, you might consider subscribing as it has a free month trial, and it includes other benefits such as free Twitch streaming and, of course, the free shipping in some of Amazon’s products.

Sportsurge

Sportsurge is completely free, but it only features live games, which means you can’t re-watch the game after it’s aired.

This is still another good option if you’re looking for free streaming websites. Check out Sportsurge’s website to see if it’s for you.

Social media

If all else fails, you can always try to look for live streaming of the NFL games on Facebook. Of course, this is probably the least efficient option since those streams can get several viewers, which might result in a slower broadcast.

Still, this is a good option if you just want to keep updated and watch the game while doing something else.
