The biggest motocross event: Where to watch the 2021 AMA Supercross
The biggest motocross event of the year began on Jan. 16th and is already revving up in an exciting way. The 2021 AMA Supercross Championship is taking place from January to May and will be filled with crazy rounds of stunts & racing that can only be seen during this time of year.
If you aren’t sure how to watch this championship event, we got you covered. Here are all the ways that you can watch the 2021 AMA Supercross Championship.
NBC Sports is the home for the AMA Supercross Championship in 2021. The website allows viewers to stream every round throughout the months of the event. You can also download the NBC Sports app on your phone, Smart TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
Unfortunately, to access NBC Sports, either on the website or the app, you have to have NBC Sports available through a cable package. However, if you have a cable service, then NBC Sports is one of the best options for high-quality streaming of each round.
NBCUniversal’s streaming service is Peacock, which gives viewers access to NBC content. The Supercross Championship will be available to watch on the service live via Peacock Premium. Peacock Premium is $5 a month, which isn’t terrible, but it does come with ads.
If you want an ad-free experience on Peacock, then you will have to upgrade to Peacock Premium Plus which is $10 a month. Peacock does have lots of content in addition to the Supercross championship, including movies & TV shows, like The Office, which was just added to the service. Peacock is available on Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, and smartphone devices.
YouTube TV is one of the best cable substitutes on the market. It has hundreds of channels without many of the complications that come from having cable. NBC Sports is available on the service, allowing you to watch every round of the AMA Supercross Championship in 2021.
It does come with a bit of a hefty price tag at $64.99 a month, however, there’s a seven-day free trial, so you can see if this is the right service for you. YouTube TV is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and smartphone devices.
Fubo TV is a similar service to YouTube TV with hundreds of channels available, including NBC Sports. It’s the same monthly price as YouTube TV, but it also has a seven-day free trial. It’s also available on all the same platforms. However, check what channels are on Fubo TV as some available channels differ from what’s available on YouTube TV.
Hulu with live TV
Hulu is another great cable substitute and gives you high-quality streaming options for the AMA Supercross Championship. It does have fewer channels than YouTube TV & Fubo TV, but you also get access to Hulu’s large streaming library, which includes hundreds of shows & movies.
It’s also $64.99 with a seven-day free trial allowing you to test it out. It’s also available on the same platforms.
Sling TV has the smallest amount of channels available, but it’s the most affordable out of all the major cable substitutes at only $30 a month. There’s a free trial, but it’s only three days. It does also offer ten hours of DVR, allowing you to record live content, so it’ll come in handy if you want to watch any rounds of the Supercross Championship, but are unable to.
It’s similar to the other service, but just know that with the cheaper price, there’s less content. However, if you just want a service for the Supercross Championship, then this may be the one for you.
There are plenty of ways to watch every round of the 2021 AMA supercross championship. If you’re a motocross fan, then the next five months are going to be lots of fun.
