Have a magical binge: Where to watch the ‘Harry Potter’ series

We’re never too old to watch Harry Potter or read the books. After a stressful day, it’s only normal that we’d like to drift off to a magic land, and what’s more magical than the Harry Potter franchise?

With so many streaming services, sometimes it’s hard to know where to look for your favorite movies & series. Unfortunately, Harry Potter is neither available on Netflix nor Disney+ so we have to look elsewhere for these movies.

Escape the Muggle world by binge-watching the whole Harry Potter saga. If you’re wondering where you can watch them, just check out our list of the best sites to stream the movies.

Amazon Prime

Although Harry Potter isn’t available for free on Prime, you can rent the movies for a starting price of $2.99 each. Unfortunately, there’s a catch here. After purchasing them, the movies will only be available for you to watch for thirty days. Once you start watching it, you only have three days to finish the movie before it becomes unavailable again.

If you’re looking for a service where you can watch the Harry Potter movies at any time, Amazon Prime also has the option to buy the movies starting at $12.99 each. Although you’d have to buy the Harry Potter movies on Amazon Prime, it can be a good option if you just want to watch some of the movies once or if you already have Amazon Prime available on your devices.

iTunes

If you already own a Mac or an iPhone, you might as well just use your iTunes to stream the Harry Potter saga. The whole Harry Potter collection is available for you to watch on the platform for $59.99. The bundle includes all eight movies.

This is a good option if you already have an iTunes account and you don’t want to deal with more apps. Also, your library will automatically sync so you can have the eight movies available on your phone or computer without much hassle.

YouTube

Another easy-access alternative to watch the Harry Potter movies is YouTube. The well-known platform allows users to rent or buy the eight movies. Each movie costs $4 to rent and $8 to purchase.

If you decide to rent, you’ll have thirty days to watch the Harry Potter movie you selected before it becomes unavailable again. One of the good sides of using YouTube is that you can watch it on pretty much any device as the app is usually pre-installed in most smartphones & smart TVs.

Stream.io

Unfortunately, torrents are an easy way to watch our favorite movies without paying for them. Platforms like Stream.io allow users to watch almost any type of content with just a couple of clicks. This app works by installing add-ons or extensions to your web browser and collecting torrents from all over the internet.

Of course, using services like Stream.io has its disadvantages. One of the biggest issues is that you would be able to watch every single Harry Potter movie for free without generating revenue to its creator, J.K. Rowling, or any other person who can profit from the franchise.

Another disadvantage of using torrents is that, if done incorrectly, they make your computer more vulnerable to viruses. If you’re not careful, you can download malware to your computer which can seriously damage it. Of course, the risk is lower if you’re using an antivirus.

VPN

Another more safe alternative is to watch Harry Potter using a VPN to access the content that’s only available on Netflix in other countries. By using a VPN, you can change your IP address so that it makes it look like you’re in a different country than you actually are.

If you don’t want to go looking for other platforms where you can watch Harry Potter you can just buy a VPN service and set your location to either Spain, Poland, or Portugal.
