So you need more series to watch? You’re telling us you watched everything? Don’t mind us – we understand the feeling of scrolling for hours through the seemingly endless options of shows on streaming, paralyzed at what to watch.
The past few months, Netflix has added a plethora of new series to binge through, but it’s hard to know where to begin. The producers behind the streaming giant have added new picks of older shows & new series on Netflix to choose from, and the options are enough to make anyone give up, turn off the TV, and (shudder) go outside.
Don’t worry, folks – we’ve gathered up the best new series on Netflix to help distract you from the outside world.
Master of None
Aziz Ansari will make a comeback onto the streaming series scene with season 3 of Master of None, dropping in late May. The new series on Netflix returns to streaming over three years after the previous season, and if you follow entertainment news as closely as we do, you probably know why.
However, Ansari fans are stoked to see where the fictionalized version of Aziz ends up in the upcoming season, and all we know so far is the series was filmed in London in lieu of NYC this time around. Will Aziz show up in season 3 of the new series on Netflix? We’ll have to wait & see.
The Circle
If you followed the quarantine buzz shows dropping soon after lockdown in March 2020, you’re more than familiar with The Circle. The new series on Netflix gained an onslaught of fans last year, and now it’s time for The Circle to collect with season 2.

Hoarders
Hoarders has been around since 2009, but season 11 just came to Netflix this month. Any pack rat can relate to the people Hoarders focuses on, while anyone who’s lived with one can understand the plight of the people behind the show.
It’s spring cleaning time, and if you need any inspiration to tidy the clutter and get rid of the jeans you haven’t worn in years, Hoarders is the only series on Netflix to get the job done.
The Serpent
The Serpent came to Netflix in early April, and has since made serious waves with the added spike in viewers from Netflix’s users. The series presents a dramatization of the true story of serial killer Charles Sobhraj, who picked off hippies in southeast Asia in the 1970s.
The Serpent gives audiences a hazy, washed out dream of 70s Thailand, and audiences have been captivated by the unbelievable true story. Think you could get home safe & sound after an encounter with ol’ Charles? Check out The Serpent – you might not be so sure.
Barney and Friends
Finally, for any millennial parents out there, Barney and Friends seasons 13 & 14 have dropped on Netflix this month. Do you feel like your head will explode if you watch just one more episode of Paw Patrol? You’re in luck.
Now is a better time than ever to show your little ones the magic of being raised in the 90s with some of the decade’s most beloved childhood characters. Season 13 & 14 came out in 2009, so the episodes aren’t exactly like the ones you saw as a little one. However, the show is more progressive than when we were little, so your kids will get the best of both worlds with the recently added seasons.
