The 2021 Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts gets underway this weekend (November 13).

This year’s event takes place from the Alderley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton after last year’s tournament was Sports RnClub held behind closed doors at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Defending champion Jose De Sousa has been drawn in Group F along with England’s Luke Humphries, Austria’s Mensur Suljovic, and Canada’s Matt Campbell.

Full 2021 Grand Slam of Darts UK TV Start Times

Group stage matches take place between November 13-16. The second round is a best of 19 and gets underway on Wednesday, November 17, and Thursday, November 18.

The tournament then gets into the best of 31 quarter-final stage on November 19-20. The semi-finals and final both take place on Sunday, November 21.

How to Watch 2021 Grand Slam of Darts Live Stream Free

The Kazoo Grand Slam of Darts of 2021 is coming to the Alderley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton next weekend. The tournament will begin on Saturday, November 13 through until Sunday, November 21.

Price will take on highly-rated youngster Nathan Rafferty, while Wade will face Jim Williams. The 32-player field for the latest televised ranking event was confirmed over the weekend when Rusty-Jake Rodriguez took the final spot on offer via the European Development Tour – joining his brother Rowby-John in Wolverhampton.

Both men will be in action in the opening afternoon session, Rusty-Jake taking on Clayton – a four-time TV winner this year – while Rowby-John will meet former World Matchplay champion Dimitri Van den Bergh.

Qualifiers Stephen Bunting and Ryan Joyce have the honor of kicking off the tournament in the opening game of this year’s event, where Jose De Sousa is the defending champion after victory over Wade in last year’s final in Coventry.

With Gabriel Clemens and Martin Schindler, two German darts aces are at the Grand Slam of Darts. In Group E, Clemens meets Peter Wright, Mike De Dekker, and Fallon Sherrock. In Group A, Schindler faces world champions Gerwyn Price, Krzysztof Ratajski and Nathan Rafferty.

Grand Slam of Darts Tips & Previews

The 2021 Grand Slam of Darts Finals is the 15th edition of a professional darts tournament. It is organized by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

The Grand Slam of Darts is taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, England, from 13-21 November 2021.

There are 32 players competing including Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, James Wade, and Gary Anderson.

Jose de Sousa is the defending champion after beating James Wade 16-12 in 2020 final.

Sousa goes into the 2021 tournament as one of the favorites alongside previous winners like the Dutchman Michael Van Gerwen and Welshman Gerwyn’s’ The Iceman’ Price.

Modus des Grand Slam of Darts

On the first day of the group, the seeded player plays against the player from lottery pot four. On the second group match day, the two winners and losers from the first group match play against each other.

Each player receives two points for each win. In the event of a tie at the end of the group stage, the leg difference is decisive first. If this criterion does not lead to a decision either, a nine-darts shootout will be held.
