How much higher is Dr. Anthony Fauci’s net worth after COVID?

Perhaps no one made more TV appearances in 2020 than Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. For many, Dr. Anthony Fauci has served as the guiding voice amidst this global pandemic, communicating factual and oftentimes scary medical & health information in a way that makes people feel calm. But has COVID-19 improved Dr. Anthony Fauci’s net worth?

Dr. Fauci, who reportedly didn’t get along with former U.S. president, Donald Trump, is now taking on even more responsibilities, having been officially named the chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden. If Dr. Fauci has been stacking all these jobs like a teenager trying to save up for a PlayStation 5, his net worth may have grown.

While we’re still in a global pandemic, it does appear that the calvary is on its way, with multiple vaccines now being utilized and possibly even more on the way. Much of this is thanks to Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has steered us in the right direction with his realistic advice and answers to difficult health-related questions. We can only hope Dr. Anthony Fauci got paid . . . but did he? Let’s unpack Dr. Anthony Fauci’s net worth.

Young Fauci

Born on December 24th, 1940, Anthony Stephen Fauci was raised in Brooklyn, New York, by parents who owned a local pharmacy. In 1958, Dr. Anthony Fauci attended the Jesuit College of the Holy Cross, graduating in 1962 with a degree in classics and a pre-med track. Afterward, Dr. Fauci attended Cornell University’s Medical College, finishing the program at the top of his class in 1966 with a Doctor of Medicine degree.

Dr. Anthony Fauci then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at the New York Hospital.

Once completed, he dived nose first into the workforce with an impressive start.

Fauci makes a living

Dr. Fauci joined the National Institutes of Health in 1968, eventually becoming the head of the Clinical Physiology Section in 1974. However, his biggest accomplishment would come in 1984, when Dr. Anthony Fauci was officially named the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the same position he still maintains today.

During his tenure as director, Dr. Fauci, as well as a team of medical professionals, tackled multiple crises that have plagued our world, including viral diseases such as AIDS/HIV, SARS, Ebola, MERS, the Swine flu, and yes . . . COVID-19.

Don’t get us wrong, the thirty honorary doctorates Dr. Anthony Fauci has received over the years are nice gestures –  but how has the man been compensated financially? We’re itching to learn his net worth so much that he may need to come up with a vaccine just to take care of that itch!

Dr. Fauci tackles “the Rona”

Dr. Anthony Fauci was brought on earlier in 2020 by the Trump Administration to serve as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, oftentimes making public appearances on behalf of Trump. However, once the coronavirus lockdowns began to take shape in March of 2020, Dr. Anthony Fauci began making the media rounds in what felt like a new daily tradition, almost like the violin players on the sinking Titanic.

Dr. Fauci made himself available to both the White House as well as the American people, giving us constant updates as it pertains to COVID-19 and the global pandemic, even if there wasn’t any real news to share, famously pushing his classic advice of “practicing social distancing”, as well as “wearing a mask”.

Naturally, Dr. Anthony Fauci was also heavily involved in the production of a vaccine, breaking down the data so that the everyday American could follow the process as we raced towards a vaccine to help slow down the spread of COVID-19.

Dr. Fauci net worth

Celebrity Net Worth estimates Dr. Anthony Fauci’s net worth at “roughly” $3 million, having an estimated 2019 salary of $417,608.

While Dr. Anthony Fauci has played an instrumental role in the global pandemic for all the right reasons, it appears he hasn’t earned the assumed “$100 million” that many thought he might garner during COVID-19.

  • What a waste of time. The obvious method of approaching this question is not investigating Fauci’s salary, it’s finding out whether there are any legal impediments to his investing in biotech.
