Nicki Minaj verse is a must

Something you’re definitely going to need on the emotion-soaked day is for everyone to recite a verse from Nicki Minaj. Honestly, is there a better way to express your enthusiasm than with a Nicki Minaj verse? This hilarious but pretty reasonable must-have list comes from user @flossybaby and has garnered millions of views.

Going bridezilla

TikTok user @basicbrownchick1’s list includes fair terms from no “pre-approved” kids (adults only please!) to banning random plus ones that the couple doesn’t know and doesn’t want to know. A wedding is about two people who love each other enough to jump through a series of hoops to cement their relationship, so, let them be the center of the event.

A strict party

To prevent shabbily dressed guests, TikToker @chrisklemens insists on keeping a “no boring formal attire” rule (unless, of course, they look fab in a suit). This TikTok user’s list also demands that guests leave the party blacked out or pay a $1,500 fine, bring two gifts if they are coming with a plus-one, and perform Nicki Minaj’s “Itty Bitty Piggy” to enter the venue.

My wedding, my rules

User @victoriagarrick4 put a humorous spin on the trend by announcing she’ll have food trucks instead of “hundred plates of the same thing”. She also told viewers she expects a guest appearance from Dan Levy and a live rendition of “Lover” by Taylor Swift. Also, she isn’t against a flash mob from the groomsmen, but only if it’s executed well and turns into a viral moment.

Wedding photographer’s list

TikTok user @mirandandersonphoto also jumped on the trend with her innovative ideas with which you can elevate your wedding reception. Her wedding rules checklist consists of having a “flower wall designated for guest photos”, renting an Airbnb in the mountains instead of going for a traditional venue, and having all the guests adhere to a color scheme.

The don’ts

User @sloane_____ took the viral trend a step further and shared all the traditional wedding customs she’d like to ditch while tying the knot. She’d not mind doing away with outdated traditions such as wedding favors, garter toss, and permissions. Her list also includes no plated meals, liquor, or gift registries to keep the wedding budget-friendly.
