‘The End of Quantum Reality’: Rick DeLano’s revolutionary new film

Rick DeLano is no stranger to Hollywood productions. In the twenty years prior to his feature-length documentary, The Principle, he served as a session musician and producer. The Principle made its mark as the only film examining the Copernican cosmological principle and differentiated Rick DeLano for his work in philosophy and physics.

Rick DeLano’s newest film, The End of Quantum Reality once again brings us closer to the work of some of the greatest minds in physics, philosophy, and quantum mechanics. The unique perspective offered by Rick DeLano enthralls viewers on topics they may have previously unstudied, opening up a new perspective on the universe as a whole. Intrigued? An explanation sought by the brightest minds in history

Scientists of the past century and beyond have been confounded by the quantum enigma. The quantum enigma is the mystery around the fact that the physics governing the realm of particles are unconnected to those of the world we experience with our five senses.

Albert Einstein himself spent the last 30 years of his life trying to grasp the problem of the quantum enigma in vain. The solution to the conundrum of the quantum enigma would not only achieve the legendary “Theory of Everything,” that Einstein sought, but would label the scientist who came to its conclusion as the most important scientist that ever lived.

The answer has been found. Rick DeLano’s The End of Quantum Reality shines a light on the unraveling of the mystery, as well as the scientist who worked through it, Dr. Wolfgang Smith.

Rick DeLano’s newest work, The End of Quantum Reality

Based on the shocking discoveries of prolific genius, Dr. Wolfgang Smith, who is a former professor of mathematics at MIT, physicist, and renowned philosopher, The End of Quantum Reality is the universe-shattering film covering his work.

Drawing from his knowledge of mathematics, as well as inspiration from venerable metaphysicians such as Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, and the unique perspective of Eastern philosophy, Dr. Wolfgang Smith is uniquely suited to resolve physics’ most important question.

The world-renowned scholar, Harvard, and MIT trained physicist, mathematician, philosopher and professor emeritus at George Washington University, Dr. Seyyed Hossein Nasr, has declared Smith’s solution a masterstroke. Thankfully, Rick DeLano is bringing that solution to audiences through his documentary, making Dr. Smith’s work accessible to everyone.

A special chat with Rick DeLano

We had the opportunity to learn more about Rick DeLano and his work with The End of Quantum Reality. Below he discusses his process, and how he came to work with Dr. Wolfgang Smith to create this exceptional film.

How was working on The End of Quantum Reality? What did you learn from the experience?

The value of having the right team.

Where did the concept come from for The End of Quantum Reality?

I knew that we simply had to get Wolfgang Smith on camera. After that first interview was obtained, the documentary pretty much made itself.

What music inspires you to create?

The fourth movement of Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. The fourth movement of Brahms’ Fourth symphony. “Gratias agimus tibi” from Bach’s B Minor Mass.

Talk us through your creative process.

I have a screen in front of my nose. Does this work? Yes? Great. No? How can we make this work? Et cetera.

What’s your next project?

I cannot imagine that there will be one.

Have you worked with mentors in the past? How would you recommend people go about finding them?

I don’t know about finding them, but I would agree with the sage: “What should you do if you find the Buddha? Kill him.”

What has been your biggest failure?

To love as I should.

What’s your filmmaking mission? Name the most important thing you want viewers to experience when watching your movies.

Baptism.

What’s your five-year plan?

To love as I should.

What indie filmmakers should be on our radar?

Anyone whose name appears in the credits of The Principle or The End of Quantum Reality.

What’s your favorite film of all time, and what did you learn from it?

The End of Quantum Reality. I learned what quantum mechanics means.

Who would compose the soundtrack of your life?

I guess I would. I couldn’t afford anybody really good.
