Run Hide Fight is the most talked about film this year! The American film, which follows a teenager around a school full of terrorists, might be the thriller we’ve all been waiting for.
Run Hide Fight
Run Hide Fight is a “school-shooting thriller” about seventeen year old student Zoe Hull (Isabel May) who decides to fight back against terrorists. With a sad backstory of the character’s mother recently dying, she decides she’ll fight for her school.
According to Variety, the film originally premiered at the Venice Film Festival by writer & director Kyle Rankins. Deadline reported that (luckily for us) The Daily Wire picked up the rights to the film and is available on their streaming service and multiple others.
The Daily Wire’s Jeremy Boreing expressed: “Run Hide Fight is ultimately a movie about courage in the face of evil. This is a gut-wrenching film that does not offer easy talking points, which is why liberal Hollywood executives have refused to distribute it.”
As reported by Deadline, Jeremy Boreing continued: “We spent years carefully developing this movie in consultation with law enforcement veterans and shooting victims to immerse people into a realistic portrayal of what it’s like to experience one of these tragedies.”
The lead star of Run Hide Fight, Isabel May, claimed that she was able to relate to her character, Zoe Hull, as she remembered how unsafe she would feel just sitting in school.
In an interview with Deadline, Isabel May recalled: “I remember being in school and realizing that the students around me including myself, in odd ways, would daydream about how we would fight or protect our fellow students from a potential shooter. That disturbed me greatly, that I was so desensitized to the subject and the issue that had just become my reality at such a young age.”
Isabel May’s Run Hide Fight costar, Thomas Jane (Todd Hull) expressed how proud he is to be part of such a special film. Jane explained to Deadline: “I thoroughly believe gun violence in America would go way down if we had a mandatory conversation and lessons about how to treat weapons.”
Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu?
Unfortunately, the famous streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu, don’t have Run Hide Fight. However, if there are other thrillers available on each platform like Timo Tjahjanto’s 2018 film, The Night Comes for Us.
Our first feature film, RUN HIDE FIGHT, will be released for streaming to DW members on Friday, January 15th. RUN HIDE FIGHT follows a high school sieged by school shooters when 17-year-old Zoe Hull, uses her survival skills to fight back. Watch the official trailer here: pic.twitter.com/QiXi590UNx

The Daily Wire
The Daily Wire released the Run Hide Fight on January 15th, 2021. As reported by HITC, Daily Wire’s co-founder Ben Shapiro & Jeremy Boreing premiered the film during their Daily Wire Backstage event where the audience got a taste of the film with a trailer and the next day it was available for all members to enjoy.
To watch Run Hide Fight on The Daily Wire, you’ll need to subscribe and pay a monthly fee of either $4 per month (Reader’s Pass), $12 per month (Insider), or $20 per month (All Access).
Run, Hide, Fight received a lot of mixed reviews. According to HITC, IndieWire’s David Ehrlich argued that the film is “artless” and was made by someone who has watched too many movies who “now made at least one too many as well”.
Other critics have praised the Run Hide Fight for its raw take on the school-shooting experience. In fact, Variety’s Guy Lodge called the film “wildly misjudged” as “the film tastelessly needles its viewers throughout, presenting the brawniest, most impossible answer” to an unbelievable situation.
