The No Risk Fee Fest is here to revolutionize the film festival circuit forever. Read more about how to take advantage of this opportunity.

Here’s why you’ll want to enter the No Risk Fee Fest

Trying to break into the entertainment industry is just as hard on your wallet as it is on your mental health. While nobody likes rejection after rejection, the literal price in wasted time and lack of work isn’t going to earn you cash. Especially if you keep spending the money to enter film festivals but get rejected.

The No Risk Fee Fest is trying to break the streak. Unless you get accepted, there is no fee on your part. The selection committee will review every feature and script submitted, without taking any of your money up front. Some festivals charge nearly $100 per submission, and that’s not even a guaranteed entry.

Of course, hearing this at first glance leaves you suspicious. But trust us, this is the real deal. If you’re lucky enough to make it into competition, it’s only $60. No price changes for late entries, no price changes depending on what type of project you have. If your work is selected, it’s a flat $60 when, and only when, your project is selected. We know you’re still doubting this though, so here’s a few questions we know you’re asking.

Most film festivals cost you a hefty sum just to get rejected. The No Risk Fee Fest is trying to change the rules, not collecting money until you get picked.

So how does this even work?

We’re not kidding, it’s literally three simple steps. One: email your film, short, script, whatever, to the No Risk Fee Fest at their email info.noriskfeefest@gmail.com. Two: wait to hear back from the festival, usually within 2 weeks of receiving your email. Three: pay your $60 fee if you’re picked for competition.

Where will my work compete?

The No Risk Fee Fest is one of several in the Action On Film Megafest in Las Vegas. If your work gets picked for entry, you could find yourself in the Hollywood Dreams International Film Festival, the Young Storytellers Movie & Story Competition, the New Cinema Film and Music Festival, and plenty others.

If you’re chosen to compete, you also have a say in which festival you want to see your work screened. Plus, you get a ticket to 15 of the best film festivals today when you enter your work in the No Risk Fee Fest. That’s definitely worth $60.

What’s my deadline?

Since the No Risk Fee Fest is rolling acceptance, the sooner, the better. The overall AOF Megafest deadline is July 1st, so your work has to be in by then at the latest. But they may stop taking submissions before then if the spots for the No Risk Fee Fest fill up. This is a really great opportunity for filmmakers on a budget, so you’re not going to be the only one trying to get in.

What prizes are up for grabs?

Since your work could end up in a number of festivals, there’s plenty to win. For a full list of prizes, check out AOF Megafest’s website with all the festivals participating to get an idea. But who cares about the prizes, because the real winner is you. Either you get accepted into an amazing film festival, or you didn’t waste your money. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so enter the No Risk Fee Fest now.
