NFL Week 10: Place your bets and watch the live stream online for free
The 2020 NFL season has been far from normal thanks to COVID-19. With games being shuffled like a deck of cards, anyone trying to gamble on the NFL this season is probably having a bad time. Week 10 is looking no different, but if you were planning on finding a free livestream for this week’s NFL games online, you may want to keep looking.
Normally, NFL games on Sunday are split across two networks: Fox & CBS. Depending on where you are in the country, your local Fox or CBS station would broadcast two different games. However, CBS has the rights to broadcast the golf tournament the Masters. Thanks to COVID-19, the Masters is happening from November 12th to November 15th.
More specifically, the final round of the Masters is set to air on CBS around 3pm EST on Sunday. This means CBS is unable to air any NFL games this coming weekend at 1pm. If you want to watch the majority of NFL games this weekend, better find a free live stream online for Fox.
Where you can stream Fox stations
While there are some games still airing later in the day on CBS, the majority of Week 10 NFL games are airing on Fox this week. Since Fox doesn’t have its own streaming service like NBC does, it’s definitely a little harder to find a livestream for these NFL games online, let alone for free.
But whether you have the biggest cable package or you’re a cord cutter, there’s options on where to find NFL live streams online, even some for free.
You’ve seen the commercials: Hulu has live sports now. Thankfully, their commercials are true, and said live sports include NFL games broadcast across all the major networks. Even better, Hulu can break down streams based on team, so you’ll never miss your favorite team play. However, don’t think Hulu is a free online live stream option for your NFL games.
The only downside with Hulu’s deal is the price. You’re looking at $55 a month for Hulu + Live TV, which is the only price bracket that offers live sports. If you’re a cord-cutter, it might be beneficial for you to get a program which lets you watch live sports. But if you have a cable subscription already, that’s a lot of money to shell out just for NFL.
NFL Sunday Ticket
Once only an option for DirectTV subscribers, NFL Sunday Ticket has expanded its membership options for those who cannot get DirectTV near them. An NFL-sponsored livestream option, NFL Sunday Ticket will give you every game out of market near you. This means all your 1pm and 4pm games you’re missing out on are available to watch.
However, the number of people who can use this service is quite small. You either have to have a DirectTV package already, or live in an area where you cannot get DirectTV. If you have DirectTV, this is a great plan for you. That said, even if you qualify for an NFL Sunday Ticket without having DirectTV, it only allows for live games, and you have to pay extra to watch old games.
While Fubo wasn’t designed as a live TV app specifically for sports, it’s become one of the best options for any & all sports fans. Offering all NFL games, Fubo can also offer free live streams online of NHL, MBA, NBA, MMA, NASCAR, and other various sporting events.
Again though, it costs $65 a month to subscribe to the service. Considering even the Hulu + Live TV, ESPN, and Disney+ bundle costs less a month than Fubo, this isn’t a worthwhile deal regardless of your current situation.
While we definitely cannot encourage piracy, there are plenty of resources online to find NFL live streams for free. One major resource was the legendary subreddit NFL Streams. This subreddit, like other sports live streaming subreddits, offered fans free live streams of all their favorite NFL games from a variety of online resources.
Sadly, Reddit brought down the hand of justice on the subreddit recently due to the fact it is, in fact, an act piracy to stream a game through unofficial channels. While there hasn’t been a subreddit as widespread as NFL Streams, many other communities have come up from the ashes offering NFL live streams for free online again.
We won’t officially link to them here, but we can’t imagine you won’t be able to find them with a brief Google search. If you’d rather go through legal means though, unfortunately you may have to forgo finding a free NFL live stream online and nab a free trial from streaming sites like Hulu, YouTube TV, or Fubo.
What are this week’s odds?
Like every other week, the lower the spread number is, the better the game is going to be. Sure, you could be like everyone else and bet the Jacksonville Jaguars crush the Green Bay Packers. But isn’t it more fun to bet on the games where people aren’t that sure who’s going to win?
For NFL Week 10, the games to watch are the Philadelphia Eagles vs the New York Giants, the LA Chargers vs the Miami Dolphins, the Houston Texans vs the Cleveland Browns, the Buffalo Bills vs the Arizona Cardinals, the Seattle Seahawks vs the LA Rams, and the Minnesota Vikings vs the Chicago Bears.
All seven of those games have around a four-point spread average or lower across all major NFL betting sites. Most notably, the Chargers vs the Dolphins & the Seahawks vs the Rams both have an average of a 1.5 spread across most major sites.
Right now, most sites are betting the Chargers & the Seahawks respectively are the favored teams to win. But with such a close spread, it could truly be anyone’s game for those two games. The Chargers & Dolphins play at 4:05pm EST on CBS, while the Seahawks and Rams play at 4:25pm EST on Fox.
