There are several new titles coming to Netflix this July. On one hand, that could make it even more difficult to choose what to watch, but on the other hand, that’s just more titles to add to your list.

The female-leading action-thriller Gunpowder Milkshake, plus Fear Street, Dynasty Warriors, A Classic Horror Story, My Unorthodox Life, The Twilight Saga, Cosmic Sin, Milkwater, Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans, The Last Letter From Your Lover, Django Unchained, The Walking Dead, Mighty Express, Cenaurworld, and The Last Mercenary are just some of the titles hitting Netflix this July.

Without further ado, let’s see what we’re gonna have this month!

Fear Street

Follow the story of teenage friends who mistakenly encounter the very same ancient evil force that’s responsible for a series of brutal murders that have plagued their town for over three centuries.

Based on the book series by the prominent children’s writer R.L. Stine, the Fear Street trilogy is perfect for Netflix. The books might have been PG, but the movies are rated R which only means a lot more thrills and greater horror.

Like the books, the films will travel through genres from murder mysteries, urban legends, gothic horror, supernatural scares, and fun with blades. It looks like the movies may have been inspired by the first slasher film, The Town That Dreaded Sundown. But this plot seems dictated by an ancient witch who regularly returns to her favorite Ohio town.

She brings catastrophes likely by possessing teens like they’re her dolls. Only, she forces the kids to kill!

A Classic Horror Story

Summer makes a great time for a nice country road trip, having your car run through those smooth, empty roads among America’s vast expanses. Although, if you’re living in a horror movie, it might just lead to your untimely demise.

In A Classic Horror Story, five traveling campers crash into a tree. But when they recover, they find that the road they’ve been driving on has been replaced by an untraversable forest and a wooden house.

My Unorthodox Life

Julia Haart is a former member of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community who turned her life completely upside down but only to become the CEO of Elite World Group.

Elite World Group is a prominent talent media company, representing a powerful list of personalities across fashion, entertainment, and culture. See her story for yourself in this inspiring Netflix show in July!

Gunpowder Milkshake

Starring Angela Bassett, Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Carla Gugino, Chloe Coleman, Michelle Yeoh, and Paul Giamatti, Gunpowder Milkshake brings you a story about an assassin.

In the midst of her rough & stormy life as a professional assassin, Scarlet (Headey) was always forced to abandon her daughter Sam (Gillan) and go on the run. Despite not being very close to her mother in the first place, Sam ends up following in her footsteps years later. She becomes a cold-blooded killer herself.

Sam ends up responsible for protecting an eight-year-old girl. She must reunite with her long-lost mother and her lethal associates to destroy a ruthless crime syndicate and its army of henchmen.

The Beguiled

Take a trip to the old wild west and watch the western drama The Beguiled

This story is about John McBurney, an injured Union soldier. He finds himself on the run as a deserter during the Civil War. He rests at an all-female Southern boarding school where the teachers and students seem eager to help him.

But as the women take care of his wounded leg, mere sexual tension rises to bitter rivalries.
