A fight between two undefeated champions never disappoints. Two modern greats at the junior featherweight step into the ring to battle it out for the title tonight. Stephen Fulton challenges Angelo Leo in his first defense of the belt.
Fulton, who boasts an impressive 18-0-0 record, takes on fellow undefeated fighter Leo (20-0-0) for a chance to be the new champion. The two twenty-six-year-olds are similar in size and statue and look to become a modern classic battle of two greats.
The fight takes place on Jan. 23rd at 9 p.m. ET. Many fans will be looking to tune into what sure to be a great fight – however, it might be hard to find a place to watch. With bars closed to the coronavirus, you might not know where to turn to watch the fight. Luckily for you, we’ve compiled all the places you can find a boxing stream.
Showtime will broadcast the fight between Stephen Fulton and Angelo Leo. Some cable providers, like Spectrum, include Showtime in their cable package at no additional cost. Check your cable provider to see if you have Showtime or add the premium channel to your package.
For those without a cable provider or just want Showtime on the go, you can get Showtime Anytime. You’ll get a thirty-day free trial, and then the price will increase to $11 a month. It’s a great option for boxing fans, so it’s definitely worth the investment.
There are two streaming services with Showtime extensions: Hulu & Amazon Prime Video. Which you choose comes down to a matter of preference. If you already pay for Amazon Prime, you get Prime Video for free, making it only a small additional monthly fee of $10 a month for the Prime Channel.
For those without a cable package, Hulu + Live TV is a great option. It costs $65 dollars a month and comes with a Showtime add-on to watch the boxing match. A part of the price is Hulu’s entire streaming library, and for $8 more a month, you can make Hulu + Live TV a part of the Disney Bundle and get ESPN+ & Disney+ for one low fee.
YouTube TV also comes with a Showtime add on. For the same price as Hulu + Live TV, you get twenty more channels and unlimited DVR storage. The three options are perfect for sports lovers and boxing fans. The only thing you’ll have to choose is whose streaming library you like more.
Reddit and live streams
While Reddit was once a safe haven for finding reliable live streaming sites with the help of the site’s popular streaming subreddits, it’s been all too difficult since their ban. Luckily, a few websites keep the subreddits alive and provide boxing fans with great streams.
The first is sportssurge.net. Links populate thirty-minutes before the start of the fight and show information like what platforms they work on and how many ads you’ll need to click through. You’ll need to know those to pick the right stream, but it also lists the resolution, framerate, and language.
Another site that works well is boxingstreams.cc. If you’ve ever been on the NFL stream site, it is the same. Choose the boxing match you want to watch, and thirty-minutes beforehand, links will populate. The nice thing about boxing streams is they list the links are most reliable.
