Why Billie Eilish’s “No Time to Die” is the best Bond anthem?

The Bond theme. It’s an iconic part of the James Bond franchise. The biggest star of the day makes a song about the newest James Bond movie, usually to some pretty solid acclaim. Remember Tina Turner’s amazing “Goldeneye” or Paul McCartney’s still great “Live and Let Die”? Sam Smith & Adele won Academy Awards for their respective bond themes.

Now, however, Billie Eilish has entered the chat with her moody & atmospheric “No Time to Die”. After about a million related COVID-19 delays, the movie is set to be released on Oct. 8. Based on early critical reactions, people are feeling pretty good about it. It has an 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Daniel Craig is seeing praise for his final turn in the role.
