Documentary Now! (IFC)
Original air date Aug. 7th, 2015
Season 3 airs Wednesdays from Feb. 20th, 2019

Are you a fan of true crime documentaries, historical exposés, and political takedowns? This satirical series from a stacked team of SNL faves won’t deliver exactly what you need, but each episode does offer pitch perfect parodies of classic documentaries such as The Thin Blue Line, Stop Making Sense, and Jiro Dreams of Sushi, along with some brilliant guest stars. Created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, and Rhys Thomas, the series finally returns for its third outing after a three year hiatus.

For this upcoming season we’re especially pumped for a satirical take on the behind-the-scenes doc starring John Mulaney. The gang are set to stamp their signature irreverent style onto Original Cast Album: Company, a more obscure gem that takes an exclusive look at Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway musical. Get ready for song, dance, & disaster when the series makes its triumphant return.

Desus & Mero (Showtime)
Original air date Oct. 14th, 2016
Season 2 airs through the week from Feb. 21st, 2019

Brooklyn-based talk show that started out as a fresh new podcast and is now taking the world by storm. Desus Nice & The Kid Mero offer their insight on the most baffling and talked about public events whilst bringing in some sick special guests while they’re at it. Don’t forget to check out their massive backlog of podcast episodes if you can’t get enough of the Bodega Boys.

Flack (Pop)

An upcoming UK-based series starring Anna Paquin (Alias Grace) as Robyn, a ruthless PR executive who usually finds herself cleaning up the messes of her clients with fierce efficiency. Despite being on top of her job, her personal life is descending into chaos. Exciting new comedy drama from Oliver Lansley, the actor-turned writer behind the BBC sitcom Whites. Co-stars Sophie Okonedo (Christopher Robin) & Bradley Whitford (Get Out).

The Oath (Crackle)
Airs Thursdays from Feb. 21st, 2019

Bold & brutal drama series that imagines an underground teeming with exclusive societies that pull strings and protect their members at any cost. Invitations to join these elite street gangs are rare yet coveted, and once inside they face threats from both outside and within their own ranks. They’d do anything to shield each other from harm, but Steve Hammond (True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten) quickly learns that most of them would do even more to save their own skin.

Rebellion (Netflix)
Available on Netflix from Feb. 22nd, 2019

International premiere of the Irish miniseries that chronicles the tumultuous events of a series of armed riots that came to be known as the Easter Rising and led to the birth of modern Ireland. Will soon be followed by a sequel series,  Resistance, which debuted in Ireland in earlier this year to positive reviews.

Whiskey Cavalier (ABC)
Airs from Feb. 24th, 2019

With a title that reeks of the wild, wild West, this brand new series takes that rugged, good-old-fashioned frontier attitude and adapts it for the modern day. Following Scott Foley as Will Chase (codename: Whiskey Cavalier), an FBI agent who’s every bit the bounty-hunting cowboy as your gang of varmints in Red Dead Redemption 2.

After a torturous break-up, Chase is assigned a new partner, Frankie Townbridge, a CIA operative who’s just as reluctant to play with the other team as he is. Together they must overcome their differences and lead an inter-agency team of elite spies to take down threats, recover valuable assets, and occasionally save the world.
