Author Nilakshi Garg Is Getting Ready With Her 3rd Book “Goodbye Home”

It’s been over a year since her last release, Twenty Eight Plus One. Now, this author is coming back soon to the writer’s world with her latest book, Goodbye Home. We have seen her posts on Instagram already about titling the book. However, the mystery remains on what this book will be all about.

We briefly interviewed the author, Nilakshi Garg, to give us bits and pieces on her latest projects. Our readers are already too excited to know it all.

Are you excited about your latest book, Goodbye Home?

Of course, I am. It’s been a long time since I have posted anything online about my new releases and projects. Yours is the first official platform to announce the launch of my 3rd book.

When are you planning to launch this book?

I am still determining, guys. However, I aim to finish it off by year-end. So, again, maybe in January, I will try to release it. I figure January is one of the luckiest months for me always. Somehow, I end up signing up new projects around in January most of the time.

Can you give us a hint about this book?

Well, isn’t the title the biggest hint in itself? It’s all about saying Goodbye to your Home.

What is going to be the genre of your 3rd book?

It will most likely be a non-fiction essay book. So people who love to dream long essays and lose themselves in the intricacies of one’s perspectives and raw emotions are going to enjoy this read for sure.

Where did you get the inspiration for writing this book?

For a long time, I was struggling to complete my other book. I was stuck in a rut. Then, came a phase of my life last year when many changes happened, and I had to reinvent a few traits that carve my personality. That’s when I knew a 3rd book was lined up in my brain, waiting to pour out itself onto the paper.

Are you working on any other projects simultaneously?

Yes, I can’t declare much about it here. But yes, some more projects are in the pipeline. If things are going well, I will definitely release at least 2-3 books next year.

What’s going to be the genre of your next projects?

Oh my… You guys ask a lot of such questions. I don’t know yet. Or maybe I do. However, I can’t reveal much about it yet. The next series of books is going to be exciting and be something new in the Indian market for sure.

Any tips you want to give to your readers?

Keep reading and making better decisions when you pick up a book, not just because of its cover but also because the story hits you hard in the gut. Care enough to browse the book and check the author’s profile when you are in the bookstore. Reach out to your favourite authors, especially Indian authors. Connect with them, and do not be afraid to ask them to collaborate with you on certain projects, giveaways, or contests.
