Untamed is a depiction of love amongst 2 friends who accept each other with flaws & shortcomings. Each time I watch these series the more I learn from LA wanji & Wei’s bond. It’s eternal and no one could have done justice except the 2actors. I hope untamed 2is made in the future.

Errrr, except The Untamed is based on a book where a deep, intimate and beautiful gay relationship is made clear, is in fact the entire focus of the story. The only reason The Untamed cannot portray that is because of Chinese censorship laws. Yes, Wei Ying and Lan Wangji are best friends, but they are also soulmates and lovers, according to the original story and the series does its best (and does it very well) to portray that while getting the drama around restrictive legislation. All of this does not in any way make those who see that relationship for what it is ‘sick’ or ‘wrong’. I can only imagine from your comments that you know nothing of the original story of Mo Dao Zu Shi as your comments are not only bigoted, they are inaccurate.
