What are the big heroes without their teams?! That’s right, we’re getting full-on team involvement for 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'. Here's the lineup.

Film Daily’s complete list of teams to expect in ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’

Crisis on Infinite Earths is under a week from debuting. The long-awaited crossover, first teased in The Flash’s pilot back in 2014, is a culmination of years of character work and story. Arrow and The Flash dedicated a good part of their seasons to prepare for the coming Crisis.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is the equivalent of Avengers: Endgame to Arrowverse fans. There has been over a year of build-up, beginning with the 2018 Elseworlds crossover between Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash. In order to prepare you as best we can for Crisis on Infinite Earths, we have told you every single thing that we know about Crisis itself and laid out the major players from Arrow, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and The Flash.

What are the big heroes without their teams?! That’s right, we’re getting full-on team involvement for Crisis on Infinite Earths. For those of you who only watch an Arrowverse show here or there, then you’re in luck because we’re giving you a thorough introduction into Team Arrow, Team Flash, Team Legends, and the Superfriends.

Team Arrow

We’re beginning with the first team formed in Arrowverse, Team Arrow. While we definitely miss Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) in the crossover, Oliver (Stephen Amell) still had a team of old (and new) members behind him. Here’s where we stand with everyone.

John Diggle (David Ramsey)

Together with Oliver and Felicity, John Diggle known as “Digg” makes up the remaining member of OTA (Original Team Arrow). Digg is Oliver’s best friend, crime-fighting partner, and moral voice. He was originally Oliver’s bodyguard after his return from Lian Yu, but quickly became integral to Oliver’s work as a vigilante.

Over the years, Digg has taken on the vigilante identities as Spartan and even served as Green Arrow briefly in season six. Digg often has difficulty handling the stranger aspects of their work, such as time travel, metas, and aliens. Despite this, he is still a loyal friend and ally to those who know him.

Digg is married to Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson), who is currently working with The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett). They have a son known as J.J., whose existence is a result of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) changing the timeline. They originally had a daughter named Sara. At some point in the future, Lyla and Digg will adopt Connor Hawke (Joseph David-Jones), who will join the Team Arrow of 2040.

Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy-Rodgers)

Here’s where things get a little complicated. There are two Laurel Lances on Arrow. From seasons one to four, we have Laurel Lance of Earth-1 (where Team Arrow resides), a lawyer fighting for what is right, who eventually becomes the Black Canary. She’s Oliver’s ex-girlfriend and was killed by Damien Darhk in season four (Neal McDonough). Apparently, during Crisis on Infinite Earths, Laurel of Earth-1 will play a role.

The second Laurel Lance is that of Earth-2. This Laurel is a metahuman who has the power to produce sonic screams. In contrast to our more heroic Earth-1 Laurel, Earth-2 Laurel is a villain known as the Black Siren. Originally introduced on The Flash, Earth-2 Laurel eventually became a recurring antagonist for Team Arrow and even took the identity of her Earth-1 counterpart.

Earth-2 Laurel eventually switched to the side of good, going back to Earth-2 to be a hero. Unfortunately, Earth-2 was destroyed by a wave of anti-matter in Arrow’s season eight premiere. She is currently the only denizen of Earth-2 confirmed to survive the anti-matter wave.

Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy)

Dinah is a police lieutenant who has the metahuman ability to produce sonic screams. She would join Oliver’s new gang of vigilantes in season five, taking up the mantle of the Black Canary. She is dedicated to the pursuit of justice, but prefers the company of her newer heroes such as Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez). She is also close with Rene’s daughter, Zoe (Eliza Faria).

Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez)

A former soldier, Rene came onto the scene in Arrow’s fifth season as the vigilante known as Wild Dog. A lot of his story is centered around trying to regain custody of his daughter and keeping her safe from his vigilante lifestyle. Rene is closest to fellow New Team Arrow member, Dinah. He is currently running for Mayor of Star City.

Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara)

Oliver and Felicity’s grown-up daughter from 2040, Mia Smoak was sent to the past with her older brother William (Ben Lewis) and Diggle’s adopted son Connor Hawke (Joseph David Jones). The trio’s presence in the past has definitely altered the future though whether for good or ill remains to be seen.

Mia has received training from Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law) along with making money in underground cage fights. She harbors a lot of complicated feelings toward Oliver, who died when she was a baby. During her time in the past, Mia has been working through her feelings about her father. Now, she has to say goodbye as Oliver approaches his inevitable death.

Team Flash

From evil multiverse counterparts to a litany of metahumans, Team Flash has provided the needed support to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) since he was struck by lightning on the night particle accelerator exploded. With Barry’s prophesied death approaching in Crisis on Infinite Earths, Team Flash finds themselves struggling with how to say goodbye.

Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton)

Iris is Barry’s wife of two years, but the pair literally grew up together. After a rocky road, this classic comic love story finally got together within season three. Despite all the universe threw at them: Iris’s own prophesied death, interdimensional Nazis on their wedding day, Barry’s time in prison, and the existence of their future daughter Nora (Jessica Kennedy Parker) from the timeline; they have remained strong and committed.

Iris has provided leadership to the team. Barry considers her an important part of why he is the Flash to begin with. While she has accepted her husband’s death in Crisis, it’s clear that she will mourn and miss. Her day job is a reporter, editor-in-chief, and founder of the Central City Citizen

Caitlin Snow/Frost (Danielle Panabaker)

Caitlin Snow and her powered alternate personality Frost have settled into a sisterly relationship but sharing one body. After a near-death experience in season five, Caitlin is allowing Frost to take the “front seat” more and more so that Frost can live her own life. Frost, who has ice powers, is the more brute strength of the two. She’s blunt and has her own hard-edged sort of compassion.

Caitlin, meanwhile, is a gifted geneticist who works at the doctor for Team Flash. It’s been a hard road for her to accept her other half. If anyone during Crisis on Infinite Earths needs medical treatment, then it will come down to Caitlin.

Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes)

Formerly the superhero known as Vibe, Cisco gave up his powers at the end of season five in order to live his own life. Though, based on images, it looks like the multiversal powered hero will get his powers back in some fashion.

Cisco is the tech guy for Team Flash: a gifted engineer who is able to make a gadget out of anything and everything. He’s been struggling with Barry’s impending end the hardest, as the pair are best friends.

Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer)

Ralph is a meta who was accidentally created by Team Flash when they broke Barry out of the Speed Force in season four. He has the power to stretch his body in a variety of ways from going full-on Mr. Fantastic stretchy limbs to actual shapeshifting, Ralphie can do it all.

In his day job, Ralph is a private investigator. He was formerly a CCPD officer, but was removed from the force after planting evidence. While he and Barry had a rocky relationship at the start, the pair eventually worked past their differences and became friends. While Ralph can be a little crude, he has largely become his own wise-cracking hero in his own right.

Team Legends

Based on what we know about Crisis on Infinite Earths, it looks like a lot of the Legends such as Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) are not involved. While we talked about the longest-serving Legends in our first piece about those involved with Crisis, there is one other member that deserves mentioning.

John Constantine (Matt Ryan)

Say hello to everyone’s favorite hot mess, bisexual disaster warlock John Constantine. Formerly the lead of the tragically short-lived NBC series Constantine, John made his Arrowverse debut in Arrow’s season four. Fans were delighted when he was brought in for a guest spot on Legends third season and later joined the Waverider’s crew in season four.

John is a magic-user with a plethora of spells at his disposal, a penchant for drinking, and enough baggage to fill an airline cargo hold. He’s one of the most powerful magic users within the Arrowverse, but has a tendency to make enemies that comes after those he cares for. Always a double-edged sword with our John.

Team Superfriends

The support and heroes that work with Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) in her role as Supergirl, these Earth-38 heroes haven’t really been too involved with previous events. It’s exciting to see them have a greater role in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Too bad it looks like the world will be destroyed. Why did no one on Earth-1 give them the head’s up again?

Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh)

The Director of the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO), Alex Danvers is a certified badass. Both a bio-engineer and a doctor, Alex has a genius-level intellect along with serious skills in sharpshooting, hand-to-hand combat, and tactical planning. Seriously, underestimate her at your own peril.

Previously, Alex has been involved in Crisis on Earth-X and her Earth-1 counterpart appeared in Elseworlds. She and Kara have a deep bond of sisterhood along with being each other’s best friend. There isn’t anything that she would do to protect her planet and her family.

J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood)

J’onn is one of the few remaining Green Martians following the White Martians genocide of his people on Mars. He’s been living on Earth for over 300 years. J’onn is the former director of the DEO, but stepped down in order to serve the alien community better. Currently, he works as a P.I. in order to help aliens who feel uncomfortable going to the police.

J’onn is a surrogate father to both Alex and Kara, having promised Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain) that he will watch over them. It’s a promise that has turned the trio into their own family unit. Recently, J’onn made his peace with long lost brother Malefic (Phil LaMarr) as part of a test by The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) to see if J’onn would be useful in the coming Crisis.

Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath)

The half-sister of Lex Luthor, Lena was sent to live with the family when she was four-years-old. Ambitious, driven, and guarded, Lena has faced a lot of betrayals during her life. Most of her story in Supergirl’s fifth season was her trying to mind control the population into not hurting each other (Project Non Nocere). This is all an emotional reaction to learning Kara’s dual life in the worst way possible. How? Well, she shot Lex (Jon Cryer) at the end of season four, he told Lena while he was dying.

Kara and the others were able to stop Non Nocere with the help of Malefic. Lena, however, feels that she is in the right and trying to make a better world. While she’s done some bad things, she will be key in helping the people of Earth-38 on Crisis of Infinite Earths. Hopefully, some things will be put into perspective for her as well. We really want Kara and Lena to make up.

Querl “Brainy” Dox/Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath)

A descendant of the supervillain known as Brainiac, Brainy is from the 31st century. Due to issues with techno-organic beings and AI’s in his time, Brainy elected to remain in the 21st century while Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) went into the future. Brainy is a little bit awkward and dramatic in equal turns. While he is the smartest person on the planet, he has trouble with his emotional IQ.

Kara and the others have welcomed Brainy within their friend group with open arms. He’s made a home in the 21st century, especially with his new girlfriend Nia Nal/Dreamer (Nicole Maines). Previously, Brainy briefly appeared in the Elseworlds crossover to help fight Amazo.
