Unknown to them, their plans were soon to be derailed when one of them is wrongly accused and imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. Leaving the other pregnant and dependent on her family and the Harlem community to prove her lovers innocent. This movie displays the constant abuse of power of the American justice system against the black community.

Kissing Booth

Now this one is our absolute fav in today’s American teen romcom. It is about a student, Elle Evans, who finds herself face to face with her best friend’s brother (who is also her long term secret crush) when she invents a kissing booth. Although not too many teens can relate to an experience like this. Nevertheless, it is absolutely worth watching.
